Tiger Fighting October 6th Atletico Madrid officially announced that Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira will join the team on loan and will play for a season. Atletico Madrid will have the right to buy out players for 20 million euros at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old Torreira joined Arsenal from Serie A team Sampdoria in the summer of 2018 and played 89 times for the North London club, scoring 4 goals and 6 assists. The player arrived in Madrid last Friday and passed a medical examination arranged by the club at the University Clinic of Navarra on Saturday.
